Wall-E is a wonderful effort by PIXAR. Filled with moments of bliss, and clearly in the realm of "what can we do," it only falls short in trading some of the story arc for set-piece complexity. Still a top-tier effort, when PIXAR does this, as in Monsters Inc. ('heaven sequence'), some of the poignant storyline is in danger of being overwhlemed by 'the effects'. Wall-E does survive intact however, and is a welcome entry into the Pixar canon.
