Filled with moments of bliss, and clearly in the realm of "what can we do," it only falls short in trading some of the story arc for set-piece complexity. Still a top-tier effort, when PIXAR does this, as in Monsters Inc. ('heaven sequence'), some of the poignant storyline is in danger of being overwhlemed by 'the effects'. Wall-E does survive intact however, and is a welcome entry into the Pixar...
